Kaden Haircut & Water Park

So it happened, Kaden got his first haircut! Yes thats right, just shy of 4 months, he has the same amount of hair as most 1 year olds! So since we were going to the water park, I couldn't bear to see all that hair matted to his hair inthe 111 degree weather!

Here are the before pictures- I know he looks like he is naked just sitting in his bumbo chair, but he really has a diaper on! haha

TADA! a little shorter than I hoped, but at the rate his hair grows it should grow out pretty quick!

The next day we went to Jungle Rapids in Wilmington, NC. Every year Sharon's Husband, Carl's Company (got that?) gives their employees family passes to a water park. So we spent the day swimming and playing and applying sunscreen in the hot hot hot hot sun! Kaden didn't know what to think about the water, but after a while he started to really enjoy it!

 He looked so cute in his little swim suit!

Not much to report this week, still just trying to get everything squared away before Justin starts school.

It has been wonderful to have him home during the day and for us all to spend time together! 

So Kaden does this funny thing when he sneezes, he yells right before he sneezes. Justin does the same thing, and I used to think he did it just to be funny, but then we had Kaden and I've changed my mind. Like this week, we were eating at a restaurant and all of a sudden we hear Kaden yell, "aaaaaaah" paused and sneezed, "ah-CHOO!" It was so funny to see the look on the waiter's face when he looked at Kaden confused and said "Salut!" Hopefully we will be able to get it on video soon! Here are pictures from this week!

In the morning- he thinks its funny to wake up at 6:30! Mommy and Daddy think differently!

Move to Greenville

We recently moved to Greenville North Carolina so that Justin could attend East Carolina University where he got accepted to the Physician Assistant program. Our new address is:

We love our new place, and suprisingly, all our stuff fits and Kaden can have his own room.
Kaden is smiling an talking and much more social! He especially likes the ladies. He starts kicking and giggling when girls smile at him.

Carolina Beach

Our Carolina Beach Trip 2011

 It was so fun! When we arrived, it was overcast and windy, 

and as the day progressed, it stayed windy, but the sun came out

and we all ended up going home with very red souvenirs on our skin.

We all took a nap in the afternoon, but Jaxon was not tired,

he thought Jonas looked like more fun

Justin and Jason were feeling especially adventurous and

Ode to Hiccup

Just as a hiccup is not explained in the medical world,

so our dog, Hiccup cannot be explained. 

For Example....

 

Yes thats right, he pooped in the sink. 

He could have gone anywhere else in the bathroom;

the tub, the toilet, the floor even, but no! He chooses the sink!

This should have been our first tip off that something

was different about this dog, because really; what dog

poops in the sink? Especially when he is only 2 months old!

So... Today we went to Greenville, stayed for most of 

the day and came home at night.

We kind of joked in the car on the way home that Hiccup 

probably knocked the baby gate down and was in the house- 

we have found him sleeping on the couch when we got home 

a couple timeshe knocked the gate down that we 

had put by the door like this:

So we put up the baby gate tighter- flush next to the door (sorry 

I don't have pictures of it) and sure enough we walked in the 

front door and this is what we saw:

 

Not only was every pocket of the backpack opened, they
were individually unzipped! We also found 2 packs of
gum- without the gum in them. The kind 

you have to pop out of the foil backed packs; 

we werent sure if they were like this before we got to them, 

but then we found 2 pieces of gum on the floor, stuck 

to the carpet so they had to at least been licked or something.

 And he had eaten the last 3 chicken flavored 

cup of noodles that we had- but left the
shrimp ones untouched. So to sum things up, 

WE HAVE A CRAZY DOG!
